About me!

After doing a few art fairs I have realised that customers want to know more about me as a person to get a better feel for where my inspirations comes from. I have given a brief over view in the ‘about me’ section of the website but here are a few questions I get asked a lot:

What inspires your art work?

My husband is a quantum physicist and my son is a gamer. I’m surrounded by technology in my house and it’s hard for this to not influence my art in some way. My son is always coming up with new ideas for inventions and computer games so he really inspires my creativity. I also watch a lot of sci fi which has a wide selection of technology, robots and monsters in it. I find them so interesting and the limits are endless of what you can do with them!

Where do you live?

I live in Bristol which is one of the most creative places in the world and you can’t turn a corner without seeing a piece of street art or graffiti spanning a house or wall. I have lived in Sydney and London as well but Bristol is where my heart is and the place where I love to create artwork and illustrations. If you haven’t visited Bristol before you really must. Most people would associate Bristol art with the likes of Banksy, but there are so many more artists doing amazing work here such as Cheba, Inkie, Andy council and Cheo.
